Glide released a Spreadsheets app in November of 2007 to work online as well as on the desktop. The application opens up outside of your browser, yet syncs automatically with a browser based program. Transmedia didn\'t use google gears or Adobe AIR to add this functionality. They created it from scratch using C/C++.
