\n\t\t\tTruemors is a site to post rumors of all quality, fully substantiated or not. The purpose of Truemors is to democratize and spread information. First, from a \u201ccitizen journalist/editor\u201d perspective it enables you to \u201ctell the world\u201d\u2014within the bounds of good taste and the law anyway. Second, from a reader perspective, it puts you \u201cin the know\u201d about the latest news, rumors, and happenings, so that \u201cyou know better\u201d without having to spend hours every day searching for information. The content that we want are true rumors that are relevant, informative, and interesting. Reading them would make them a person more interesting. Gossip, by contrast, is less urgent, less useful, and almost always deals with people\u2019s private lives. In other words, if we wanted gossip, we would have called our site \u201cTruessip\u201d or some such drivel.
